Official Rules

1. Eligibility:  The Canteen Office Coffee Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is open to all legal residents who are physically located in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (excluding Rhode Island, Alaska and Hawaii), eighteen (18) years or older, and who works for a company or organization that offers free coffee to its employees.  The sweepstakes shall only be construed and evaluated according to U.S. Law. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Compass Group USA, Inc. or its Canteen division (the “Sponsor”) and each of its respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively the “Releasees”), as well as their immediate family (spouse, parents, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren) and household members, whether related or not, are not eligible to win. Participation in the Giveaway constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.  Sponsored by Compass Group USA, Inc., 2400 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, NC 28217.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
2. How to Enter:   Log on to http://canteencoffeesales.com/bay-area/contest/ between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) November 15, 2012, and 12:00 p.m. ET February 13, 2013 (“Contest Period”) and submit your entry by completing the form on the CONTEST PAGE. Any and all inappropriate or offensive entries will be disqualified. Only one entry per e-mail address will be accepted during the Contest Period.  If you do not wish to enter online, you may enter the Giveaway by printing your name, address, employer name and address, day & evening telephone number and email address (if you have one), and the words, “Canteen Office Coffee Giveaway” on a 3”x5” card, and mail it to:  Mark Kaminski “Canteen Office Coffee Giveaway”, Compass Group USA, Inc., 2400 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte NC 28217.   Mail-in entries must be received by February 13, 2013. Limit one entry per person.
3. Notification of Winner(s): Prize winners will be selected at random by a member of Sponsor and notified by e-mail and/or phone, and posted on the internet website http://canteencoffeesales.com/bay-area/contest/ on February 20, 2013.  Prizes will be awarded within 30 days after receipt of all online registration forms. Prizes are not transferable. Non-compliance with these Official Rules or undeliverable notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If there is no reply, the chosen winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be drawn at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The prize will be shipped to the winner’s address provided at the time of entry once eligibility information is verified, except the one month’s supply of free coffee will be shipped to the winner’s employer’s address.  The potential winner may be required to sign and return to Sponsor an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release including (where lawful) a publicity release for receipt by Sponsor by the due date indicated in the notification correspondence.  If any required documents are not returned within the number of days specified in the notification correspondence, or if any correspondence (whether electronic or hard copy) is returned as undeliverable, then the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
4. Prizes: 3 Winners will receive a home brewer (Illy X7 Espresso maker or similar) (approximate value $299.99) and a 4 cans (84 capsules) of Illy espresso capsules (approximate value $90) and a set of Designer Espresso Cups & Saucers (approximate value $175). Winners agree to have his/her name featured on the Sponsor’s site at http://CANTEEN.com/ and http://canteensales.com , its Facebook, google+, youtube channel, twitter and vimeo channel all at Sponsor’s discretion.  Winner’s employer will also receive a one (1) month’s supply of free coffee, credited from the employer’s prior months coffee purchase for one (1) office location, up to a maximum value of $500 based on the average of 12 months worth of prior invoices.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal or greater value.
5. Odds of Winning: Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Taxes: All federal, state and/or local income and other taxes, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility.
7. Consent and Release: By entering this Giveaway, each entrant releases and discharges the Releasees from any and all liability whatsoever in connection with this Giveaway, including without limitation legal claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages, demands or actions of any kind (including without limitation personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light.
8. Dislcaimer: Releasees assume no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures of any kinds, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend and/or modify this Giveaway, in its entirety or in part should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of the Giveaway.  By entering, participants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Giveaway or any prize won, any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, or participation in any Giveaway related activity.
9. Privacy Policy: The Sponsor does not release or sell customer or entrant information to third parties or mailing lists. You may receive telephone, email and print solicitations from Sponsor by entering this contest.  Any individual may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by Sponsor for solicitations.  To elect to have an individual’s name excluded from all such lists, submit a removal request in an email to sales@canteensales.com, or in writing to Mark Kaminski, Compass Group USA, Inc., 2400 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte NC 28217.  Review our privacy policy at http://canteencoffeesales.com/bay-area/privacy-policy/.
10. WINNERS LIST:   For the name of the Giveaway winners, send a separate stamped, self-addressed envelope to:  Mark Kaminski “Canteen Office Coffee Giveaway” Winners, Compass Group USA, Inc., 2400 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte NC 28217 after March 1, 2013 and before July 31, 2013.  Vermont residents may omit return postage.
